Part 1 is an excellent overview of not only the master push off a double push off with no get-ready , but also goes over a variety of techniques for the double push off and includes vital information on how to apply it to second and triple dealing--including one-handed doubles and triples--an double dealing and goes over a variety of these types of deals.

Andi Gladwin is an excellent and patient teacher. He does not dwell on any one topic for too long but his instruction is crystal clear. Ben Earl has a guest appearance helping demonstrate and teach a variety of double deals and methods to practice and perfect your double deal. Andi is encouraging, describing the master push off as a 'knack' more than a skill. Still, it has taken me a great deal of time to reliably do a double push off this way and will take me a great deal longer before I am able to use the push off to deal doubles and triples naturally.

That said, this is one of those DVDs that is well worth the purchase price. The double lift is such a basic technique and one that needs constant practice and refining. This will give you another approach to a double lift. Even if you decide against using the master push in front of an audience this is more about just learning a move.

Learning this move will have an impact on your approach to sleight of hand and open your mind to looking at different methods will apply to other areas of card magic. Highly recommended. To put it straight: The Master Pushoff is a must-have. Even though I knew the mechanics behind the pushoff, I wasn't able to push off just two cards.

It sounds like magic, but after watching Andi's instructions I tried again and was immediately able to push off two cards.

Surely it needs practice to get the move down perfectly, but the instructions really helped me improve my technique within a few minutes. Furthermore Andi teaches a lot of beautiful controls that utilize the pushoff move. The trick section is great as well, but I would buy the Master Pushoff again, even if the tricks weren't included since the explanations on its own are definitely worth the money.

Although it looks a lot more natural, it is not concealed enough to make it one that professionals or experts choose to use. The 2-Card Pushover is by far the most difficult to master. However, it is also the most natural and most reliable.
