Sims goth family

Especially when his estranged father turned the Goth name into a joke. Most of the traits in a single sim seem to be positive with perhaps one negative trait. Each one seems to have an interest in learning, or giving themselves a comfortable life.

The Goth family are not only the founders of Sunset Valley, they are the heart and soul also. All of them are born humanitarians, working for the good of all Sunset Valley. Investing in many local businesses, to keep them running and to preserve Sunset Valley's peaceful prosperity.

Studying everything from the earth, to the heavens, even the netherworld, to provide sims with knowledge that the political sims would rather hush up. The "ghostly" branch of the Goth family seems to have made a very small splash in Moonlight Falls at all. They take great pleasure in moaning on about how life has been bitterly unfair to them, and doing nothing about the swarm of zombies that has invaded their garden.

The Moonlight Falls branch on the other hand, works for their own fame and ambition, regardless of whether it benefits the people of their neighbourhood or not. Hardly anything outside their own home and dreams concerns them. All of history's greatest sims are Goths. They become doctors, join the police force, enlist in the military, become great chefs, composers, scientists, have illustrious writing careers, etc.

For many years, the whereabouts of Jared was unknown. It slipped even the mind of Gunther Goth. The knowledge of his existence died with Mortimer, who had only known of Jared during his child days. For three generations, the knowledge was gone.

News spread through the valley, that deep down in the archives of Town Hall, there were records of another Goth, who had made a name for himself in the field of science. In The Sims 3 which is set 50 years before The Sims 2, we meet a young version of the goth family who are living in the town of Sunset Valley which their family founded. Their history in sunset valley in rooted deeply in their feud with the towns other founders. We next see the Goth family in The Sims 2 in Pleasantview.

At this point in their story, Mortimer is reaching the end of his life and seeing a young girl who is after his money, Bella has been abducted by aliens, and Cassandra is just about to be left by her fiance at the altar. This is the end of the Goth family story as the Goths who appear in The Sims 4 belong to an alternate universe where none of this took place.

One may notice that, though Bella Goth is not present in the Goth family household which resides in Pleasantview in The Sims 2, she can be seen as a townie in the neighboring destination known as Strangetown. At some point in her life, Bella Goth was abducted by aliens and taken from her life and family. When the aliens finished with whatever they had planned, they dropped her off in Strangetown an Area 51 inspired town that is frequented by aliens, military personnel, and bizarre happenings with no memory of what happened to her or her previous life.

Her personality and physical appearance are slightly different than they were before the abduction so many wonder if she truly is Bella Goth or if she was replaced somewhere along the way. It is impossible to look at the Goth family home as well as the people who live inside of it and not think of everyone's favourite Gothic film family: The Addams Family. From their gothic nature to the graveyard that replaces a normal backyard, the similarities are obvious.

But the biggest similarities seem to come from the family itself. Bella Goth and her husband, Mortimer, are as close as one can get to Morticia and Gomez without copyright infringement and their.

In The Sims, the Goth family exists in several versions. In Bustin' Out, the family is made of Mortimer and Bella who are literally haunted by the ghosts in their yard. In the base game, the family is made up of Mortimer, Bella, and Cassandra who share a small yet gothically themed home. And in The Sims: Unleashed, the family is expanded greatly. In this version of the game, Gunter Goth, Cornelia Goth, and their two cats have been added to the family.

They live in a ridiculously large mansion. The kind of mansion that we all build for ourselves when playing the Sims for the first time. In The Sims 2, the Goth family is absurdly rich.

Having two men love her could be considered entangled, or 'scandalous'. Interesting that Cassandra's name is regarded to be a female version of name Alexander. Alexander Goth : Means "defending man". Alexander the Great was the leader who created an empire through Greece, Egypt, Persia, and parts of India. Several other rulers and kings bear the name Alexander. Alexander's name seems fitting as well. He is the smart one and the first son; meaning he could have power to take over the family if Dina Caliente doesn't do so first.

Cornelia Goth : Derived from the Latin word "cornu", meaning "horn". Or possibly, Cornelia is supposed to refer to "corn" because of the rural landscape of Pleasantview's past. The name is quite old-fashionable yet elegant and suits her perfectly. Hecuba Goth : Variant on the Greek name 'Hekabe' which itself is a variant of 'Hecate' and can possibly mean "Far-off".

Hecate is also a traditional goddess of witches, which may relate with Cassandra Goth's name relating to prophecies. Menelaus Goth : From Greek origin it means "withstanding the people". Victor Goth : One definition is "a person who has overcome, a conqueror". Another definition is "a winner in any struggle or contest". The meaning of this name is quite clear, as "victor" in English means one who is victorious. Gretle Goth : Commonly spelled Gretel; this name is a short form of Margaret, which in Greek means "pearl".

Also, in a fairy tale, Gretel and her brother Hansel were captured by a witch but managed to escape. If there was a witch-like character in the Sims' games that may have kidnapped Gretle Goth, this name would make more sense. Frida Goth : Means "peace". Lolita is a nickname for "Dolores", which means "sorrows".
